I think the ai is definitely worse in the sense that it seems to have stricter guidelines now, but if you can figure out ways around the safeguards i think the original image gen tech is still there. Just takes. The best feature of the bing renderer is that it stays true to your prompt.
I have been using other ai chat services for the last 12 months and got genuinely excited and invested in the image generation capabilities with bing, but i don't think i have been able to finish a conversation.
