Sakura's role in boruto or lack thereof is my personal reason why the boruto series does not fit into the naruto narrative. Sakura is a person that would directly involve herself in the current situation. Sakura would have had just as much exposure to him as naruto.
I don't know if somebody noticed, but sakura really looked happy in the entire coachella performance.
